About
I'm Bronson Broer, President of Rhino Technology Group in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. Rhino is a hardware lifecycle company: we handle enterprise IT asset disposition, resell equipment on the secondary market, and, more recently, source, deploy, and host GPU infrastructure for AI workloads. Our sister companies are Core 4 Solutions, for IT hardware sourcing and services, and Charg, a GPU cloud built on redeployed Cray supercomputers.
I've spent twenty years in the secondary hardware market. Most of my day is operations, capital, and partnerships, the unglamorous parts that decide whether the trucks show up and the servers boot.
I live in Edina. Outside work: three kids, a lake cabin, fishing, and golf. The kids and I build side projects together, like Tacklebot, an app that tells you what to tie on based on what's in your tackle box and the conditions.
Intel Codename or Minnesota Lake?
Intel has named its processors after lakes and rapids for fifteen years. I've spent twenty years unracking those processors, and I live in the state with 10,000 lakes. Sometimes I honestly can't tell which is which.
